November 15th 2022 from 9.00 to 10 PM (CET) join us and our guest speaker Wim Leermans via Zoom on our fight to eradicate polio

Tuesday, November 8, 2022

Let's get real: if you hear that somebody is a Rotarian, the image that pops up in your head is not one of people caring about the environment, peacekeeping, and charity actions. And although the business aspect of Rotary International is certainly a factor why people join this organization, there is much more to Rotary than you could ever imagine.

This is also Rotary: - The fight to end polio worldwide is the number one mission of Rotary. Rotary members have contributed over the years more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from this paralyzing disease. At any given time, there are hundreds of projects worldwide ongoing to fight other life threatening diseases (e.g. Malaria, Aids/HIV, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, diabetes). https://lnkd.in/egbtXNCG - There is an Rotary club (E-Club of Belgium 1), that conducts virtual meetings via Zoom and meets a few times per year in person.

Once a month we invite an interesting speaker, and these sessions are open for non-Rotarians.

On November 15th from 9.00 to 10 PM (CET), Wim Leerman, who is passionate about our fight to eradicate polio, will join us in a zoom call to share his experiences.

You are welcome to join this virtual meeting, please let us know by mailing to e.club.belgium1@gmail.com.
